How we do it
Built to the load, not to the photo.
Every deck starts with footings below frost depth, a ledger flashed and bolted correctly, and joists sized for the span. It costs a little more in the ground and saves you the deck in ten years.
Covered porches are our specialty.
A vaulted pine ceiling with recessed lights and a fan turns a back door into the best seat on the property. Look through the gallery below and you will see the same details on every one.

Questions we get
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Usually yes for anything attached to the house or over 30 inches off grade. We pull it and handle the inspection.
How long does a deck take?
A typical attached deck is three to six working days once materials are on site. Covered porches run one to two weeks.
Do you build gazebos?
Yes. We assemble kit gazebos and build custom ones, including netting, lights and fans.
